Terms & Conditions

The terms that govern service bookings, delivery, payments, and the relationship between you and Capsule Drev.

Last updated: 1 January 2026

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the Capsule Drev website and your engagement of our home electrical services. Please read them carefully. By booking a service or using our website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and are intended to be clear and fair to both parties.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By submitting an enquiry, confirming a service booking, or using our website, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services or website.

These Terms apply to all clients, whether individuals or organisations, engaging Capsule Drev for residential electrical services.

2. Services

Capsule Drev provides home electrical services in Petaling Jaya and surrounding areas of Selangor, Malaysia. Our current service offerings include:

  • Home Electrical Visit — a comprehensive inspection and assessment of your home's electrical installation, with written observations
  • Lighting & Fitting Work — installation and replacement of lighting fixtures, switches, power outlets, and related accessories
  • Main Panel Service — testing, examination, labeling, and documentation of the main electrical distribution board

Services are described in detail on our Solutions page at capsule-drev.com/solutions. Service descriptions represent standard scope; specific scope for your property will be confirmed prior to or at the start of each engagement.

All work is carried out in compliance with applicable Malaysian electrical regulations, including those issued by the Energy Commission of Malaysia (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).

3. Bookings and Scheduling

3.1 Booking confirmation

A service booking is confirmed when you receive written or verbal confirmation from Capsule Drev specifying the date, time, and service type. Submission of an enquiry form alone does not constitute a confirmed booking.

3.2 Scheduling

We schedule service visits based on availability and geographic proximity. While we make every reasonable effort to accommodate preferred dates, specific time slots cannot always be confirmed in advance. We will communicate an estimated arrival window and notify you promptly of any changes.

3.3 Access requirement

You must ensure that a responsible adult (18 years or older) is present at the property for the duration of the service visit. If access cannot be provided at the confirmed time, the visit may need to be rescheduled and a rescheduling fee may apply (see Section 5).

4. Pricing and Payments

4.1 Prices

Prices published on our website are in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and represent our standard service rates. All prices are exclusive of any additional materials or components not included in the standard service scope, which will be communicated and agreed upon before work commences.

4.2 Additional work

If additional scope is identified during a visit that falls outside the agreed service, we will discuss this with you before proceeding. No additional work is carried out without your prior agreement.

4.3 Payment terms

Payment is due upon completion of the service visit unless alternative arrangements have been confirmed in writing prior to the visit. We accept cash and bank transfer payments in Malaysian Ringgit. A receipt will be provided upon payment.

4.4 Price changes

Prices are subject to change. The price applicable to your booking is the price confirmed at the time of booking. Price changes will not affect confirmed bookings.

5. Cancellations and Rescheduling

5.1 Client-initiated cancellation

You may cancel a confirmed booking by contacting us at least 24 hours before the scheduled visit time without charge. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice may be subject to a cancellation fee of RM 80 to cover scheduling and travel costs incurred.

5.2 Rescheduling

We understand that plans change. You may reschedule a booking once without charge, provided we are notified at least 24 hours in advance. Subsequent rescheduling requests or those made with shorter notice may incur a modest rescheduling fee, which we will communicate clearly before confirming the new schedule.

5.3 Capsule Drev-initiated changes

In the event that we need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed visit due to circumstances beyond our control (including technician availability, travel delays, or safety conditions), we will notify you as early as possible and offer the earliest available alternative slot. No charges will apply in these circumstances.

6. Client Obligations

To enable us to carry out our work safely and effectively, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your property's electrical situation when making a booking
  • Ensure safe and reasonable access to all relevant areas of the property (main panel, distribution boards, affected rooms)
  • Inform us in advance of any known hazards, pre-existing conditions, or access restrictions at the property
  • Ensure a responsible adult is present throughout the service visit
  • Refrain from interfering with work in progress without consulting the technician
  • Clear the work area of fragile items or obstructions where reasonably practicable

Failure to meet these obligations may affect the scope of work we can complete safely and may result in rescheduling or additional charges.

7. Service Scope and Limitations

7.1 Scope definition

The scope of each service is as described on our website and as confirmed with you prior to the visit. Our technicians will communicate clearly if they encounter conditions that affect what can be completed within the agreed scope.

7.2 Pre-existing conditions

Our services are carried out on existing residential electrical installations. We are not responsible for pre-existing defects, non-compliant wiring, or conditions not disclosed at the time of booking. Where pre-existing conditions are identified during a visit, we will discuss them with you and propose appropriate next steps.

7.3 Written observations

Written observations provided following a Home Electrical Visit represent our professional assessment of the installation at the time of the visit. They are informational in nature and do not constitute a certification, warranty, or guarantee regarding the installation's ongoing condition.

7.4 Client-supplied materials

We are happy to install client-supplied fittings and components. While we will inspect these before installation and raise concerns if any are identified, we are not responsible for defects in client-supplied materials that affect installation quality or longevity.

8. Liability

8.1 Our liability

We carry out all work with reasonable care and professional skill. If a fault arises directly from work we have carried out, please contact us promptly and we will assess and address it fairly and at no additional charge.

8.2 Limitations

To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, our total liability to you in connection with any service is limited to the fee paid for that service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental losses, including loss of use, loss of data, or damage to contents not directly caused by our negligence.

8.3 Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures in service delivery caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disaster, power infrastructure outages, or public health measures.

9. Intellectual Property

All content on the Capsule Drev website — including text, design, graphics, and service documentation — is the property of Capsule Drev or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or adapt our content without prior written permission.

Written observations and service reports prepared for you during a service engagement are provided for your personal use as the client. They may not be shared commercially or represented as independent certification.

10. Website Use

Our website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate service enquiries. You agree to use the website only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of others or disrupt its function.

We make reasonable efforts to keep our website accurate and available, but we do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. We may update, modify, or withdraw website content at any time without notice.

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. In the event of a dispute, we encourage you to contact us directly in the first instance so that we can attempt to resolve the matter informally and fairly. If a dispute cannot be resolved by direct discussion, the parties agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or applicable law. The revised Terms will be published on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our services after any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

Changes will not apply retrospectively to confirmed bookings made before the date of change.
